Overview
As part of The Penn Stater Hotel’s extensive renovation, KKAD introduced a modern Scandinavian aesthetic while preserving the property’s strong ties to Penn State’s heritage. Working alongside the design team, I developed large-scale artwork that translated the university’s identity into a contemporary visual language. The pieces draw inspiration from the Nittany Lion mascot while reflecting the clean forms, natural materials, and minimalism characteristic of Scandinavian design.
